If driving bus seems intimidating, but you have a good driving record then APPLY - especially if you have kids (all ages welcome). It’s so easy to drive a bus, most of us prefer it now that we have tried. There are different positions available also!! Flexible schedule!! Availability to do things during the day!! Good Pay!! Don’t work holidays unless you want to and work is available (usually something available)!! I’m def glad I finally did it.

Wonderful place to work! Working here has helped me so much, it's such a warm welcoming environment. I bring my toddler with me to work everyday on the school bus and everyone is so welcoming to her too. North star has turned into our second home, and I'm happy to say I finally have a job I love.

My paycheck at North Star Bus Line is higher than that of my coworkers at other organizations. Furthermore, I was pleasantly delighted that they offered me a genuine sign-up bonus. That is practically unheard of in this field, and it just served to reinforce my impression that this was a fantastic company to work for.

I LOVE the people and feel very comfortable talking about things. You are allowed to bring your kids with you, so you don’t have to put them in a daycare, and you can see them. The staff works very hard with our schedules, even if a child is sick or you have a wedding coming up!

Dispatch rocks. I feel like this is my other family.

I really enjoy the people. I love being able to build relationships with the children I see everyday. It’s a fun place to work, and it keeps me busy. I also love the flexibility and ability to work extra hours when needed.

There are many effective and professional dispatchers. We’re not being micro-managed and treated with suspicion. We are getting many hours, and it’s close to home.

I've had amazing support from everyone (Kurt, Jeene, and Sue) and feel very appreciated and welcome here. I've had a couple of health issues that everyone has helped me immensely through.

To be honest, I started working here because I needed the money, but now I'm glad I stayed because this job has been good to me and my child. I love that it's a family business. There’s an excellent leadership environment between management, payroll, and especially dispatch. It’s a friendly and family type environment. We also celebrate employee appreciation lunches.

I've been on-board going on nine years now. We have an employer and staff that are helpful, understanding, and fun to work with and for. I have no issues. I like working here!

The support and advice I get from all the drivers, and all the work in the dispatch area, has been very helpful for a first year driver.

Northstar staff is always helpful, they listen, and are often driving routes. They do all they can to keep the company going. They are always welcoming!!

There are good hard working staff, it’s close to home, and it’s a non-union work place.
